As a Talent Acquisition Specialist with Reiser, you will be responsible for sourcing candidates to fill positions for our corporate headquarters in Canton, MA in addition to field service and niche remote positions in the United States and Canada. Talent Acquisition Specialist
The Talent Acquisition Specialist assists in the proper staffing of the organization for assigned areas of responsibility specializing in the sourcing, screening, interviewing and attracting of available and passive candidates and assessing their suitability to the Reiser. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also be responsible for writing job postings and assist with the maintenance of our careers page. Additional responsibilities include utilizing the Applicant Tracking System to provide real time data analytics and metrics to the business they support.
Responsibilities:
 
  • Responsible for full recruitment process life cycle, including sourcing, screening, candidate assessment, coordinating interviews and securing offers for assigned positions.
  • Uses social media, job boards, internet sourcing and other technical means to source viable candidates
  • Assists the Talent Acquisition Manager with the talent acquisition strategy to include job posting optimization, recruitment marketing channel development, job board procurement, etc.
  • Works independently to drive all sourcing efforts on assigned positions.
  • Provides guidance to candidates on corporate benefits, salary and company work environment.
  • Provides recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers and HR team using hiring and employment data
  • Works with internal management on all recruitment efforts
  • Supports the college recruitment program and onboarding of college interns and co-ops.
  • Assist and guide the development of our corporate employment resources
  • Participates in employment events such as career fairs
  • Assists in the management of our applicant tracking system (ATS) to track applicants through the selection phase up through the handoff to on-boarding.
  • Responsible for writing and editing job descriptions and job postings.
  •  Assists in the maintenance of the company career page to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all postings
  • Assists in employee engagement and retention programs
  • May from time to time perform work at company events/outings which will be off site and out doors
Key Skills and Experience:
 
  • One to three years of demonstrable talent sourcing experience. Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and ability to write search strings is essential. Prior Agency experience preferred.
  • Experience recruiting Mechanical/Electrical Engineers, Technicians or Light Industrial candidates strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal/written skills, ability to prepare, rewrite and edit (spelling punctuation, grammar and syntax) company job descriptions, postings and other internal communications
  • Solid understanding of interviewing/screening/pre-qualifying techniques and skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload and competing priorities
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
  • Thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field.
